Urgent & Emergency Care — Your Experience Matters
Helping us reduce ambulance handover delays and A&E waiting times
Introduction
Too many people across Central East are waiting too long for emergency care — both in ambulances outside hospitals and once inside A&E departments. We are working with our hospital trusts, East of England Ambulance Service and local partners to reduce delays and make sure people are seen by the right person, in the right place, as quickly as possible.
We want to understand your recent experiences of urgent and emergency care, and your awareness of alternatives such as NHS 111, Urgent Treatment Centres and Pharmacy First, so we can target improvements where they matter most.
This engagement closes at 11.59pm on 7 September 2026
This survey asks about your most recent experience of urgent or emergency care — whether that was calling 999 or 111, waiting in an ambulance, or attending A&E or an Urgent Treatment Centre.
