Get involved to shape the future of health services
Central East ICB plans and funds NHS services for 3.5 million people across Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire and Milton Keynes. We're currently developing Neighbourhood Health Centres to bring care closer to home, and working to reduce delays in urgent and emergency care.
Before decisions are made, we want to hear from you. Whether you're a patient, a carer, a community group or simply a local resident, your experience helps us understand what's working, what isn't, and where to focus improvement first.

Frequently asked questions
Who can take part in these surveys and projects?
Anyone with an interest in NHS health and care services across Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire and Milton Keynes — residents, patients, carers, voluntary and community sector groups, and health and care professionals are all welcome. Most surveys are open to everyone; a few (like panel surveys) ask you to create a free account so we can follow up with you over time.
Do I need to create an account to take part?
Not always. Some surveys — like our awareness surveys — are fully anonymous and need no login at all. Others, like our access panels, ask you to create a free account so we can invite you back and track how things change over time. Each project page tells you clearly which type it is before you start.
Is my information kept confidential?
Yes. Anonymous surveys collect no identifying information at all. Where an account is used, your personal details are kept separate from your answers wherever possible, and results are only ever shared with the wider organisation in grouped, anonymised form — never as individual responses linked to you.
How will my feedback actually be used?
Your responses directly inform decisions — from where Neighbourhood Health Centres are located, to how we improve urgent and emergency care, cancer screening uptake, and access to primary care. We report back on what we've heard and what has changed as a result, including where we haven't been able to act.
How do I find out about new projects and surveys?
You can browse all current and past projects on this site at any time, and subscribe for updates on individual projects you're interested in — you'll be notified by email whenever there's a new survey or update to that project.
